My Fix
A while back, Todd was telling some of us (at the time) fellow Bostonians that he and Ruth had looked up coffee places in Boston to see where people recommended going for a good espresso. I probably shouldn't mention this since Jurvis is on the cusp of addiction himself, but lately I've been indulging more and more in the fruit of Todd's search: Simon's coffeehouse on Mass Ave in Cambridge. Not only is it absolutely delicious, but they make perfect latte art using every cup. Self control, you fail me once again.

I finally got around to trying out 1369 (the correctly-named Inman Square location; there's a second in Central) after that conversation. I had a good coffee, a very good iced tea, and exceptionally friendly baristas. Unfortunately, they charge for their wireless access, which in this day and age is inexcusable.
But I'm glad that the tip didn't fall on deaf ears.

Ah, I see. 1369 is the place I always pass going from Harvard into Central on Mass Ave. But with it's delicious espresso drinks and proximity to my house (under 10 minutes by bike), Simon's has a distinct advantage.
