The funny thing is, no one ever named that cat, properly speaking. We tried, and failed, and then everyone just took to calling him Pookie.

It was rather harder to face as a reality, even though it was clear it would happen two weeks ago. But I'm all right now that it's over.

I actually started pookie, after the stuffed bear in garfield. We originally wanted to name him Igor, but after he turned mean one Summer, I started the Pookie campaign. It's odd how that really took off.
