Fundamental Questions
I need a name for those things which may be enabled. Enablable, or Enableable? Either way, have you ever seen a more absurd looking word?

the best part is saying it.

The first one is certainly preferable, as it suggests the less absurd pronunciation, and doesn't actually have the word "able" appear twice in it. It's a shame you're tied to "enable" (which I assume is because it's a technical term), since "enactable" or some other such thing would be much more aesthetically pleasing.

It's not a technical term. It just seems like the best word for "can be turned on." Do you want me to use "activateable"? "onable"?
If we can come up with something better, I promise to refactor the code appropriately.

What context are you using it in?

There is a list of types of data, and the can select one or more types to display. There are several similar types of these lists, and the important characteristic that the elements of these lists share is that they may be enabled/turned on/activated. I need a word which describes all of these elements.
